    Day 1/ Athens

    Arrival at Athens International Airport. Your transfer escort will be waiting in the arrivals hall holding a placard with your names for your transfer to your hotel. Rest of the time is free for leisure. Later pick up in the evening for the Athens Night Tour. Your evening begins with a short panoramic drive through the city center and on the slopes of the sacred hill you will be able to see, admire and take photos of the illuminated Acropolis. Then a pleasant walk through the narrow picturesque streets of Plaka, the old city, will bring you at a Typical Greek Tavern where you will enjoy your dinner following a floor show with live music and Greek Folk Dances in traditional costumes. Later return to hotel. Overnight in Athens. (D)

    Day 2/ Athens

    After breakfast, meet in the lobby for your Half Day City Tour of Athens. With a recorded history of 3,000 years, Athens is the capital of Greece and among the most interesting places in the world. The tour gives you the opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guides will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first modern Olympic Games were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the Monument of the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). At the Acropolis you will visit the architectural masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally “the harmony between material and spirit”, the monument that “puts order in the mind”, the Parthenon. Continue and visit a must-see in Athens, the place where finally the statues found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era: The New Acropolis Museum, voted by the Sunday Times as the 3rd best museum of the world.     Day 3/ Athens – Santorini

    After breakfast, transfer to Piraeus Port (Athens) for the ferryboat to Santorini which takes between 5 and 8 hours. Arrive and Santorini and transfer to the hotel. Visually spectacular! Santorini is the most beautiful island of the Cycladic group with the most beautiful sunsets in the world. Great night life, excellent beaches and the world’s top destination for honeymooners. Overnight in Santorini. (B)

    Day 4/ Santorini

    After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for Santorini tour. One of the jewels of the Aegean Sea, the beautiful island of Santorini offers up all manner of cultural, natural, and culinary attractions. See the best of Santorini, from its historic villages to its volcanic beaches. Begin your sightseeing adventure in the north of the island, at the scenic village of Oia: one of Santorini’s most visually striking locations, the village has long inspired artists with its beauty, and sits overlooking the island’s caldera. Next, head to the traditional, cliff-top village of Imerovigli before venturing to Firostefani, another nearby village that’s famous for its distinctive, blue-domed church. Santorini is also home to its own ancient ruins: the site of Akrotiri, an ancient Minoan village that was buried by the island’s colossal volcanic eruption. Don’t miss the chance to see the incredible, well-preserved remnants of the settlement for yourself. Afterwards, it’s on to the island’s appropriately named Red and Black Beaches. Both are named for their distinctively colored sand, and offer stunning views over the Aegean Sea. Lastly, wind your tour down with an indulgent stop at a local winery. Santorini has produced its own wine since ancient times, and sampling its varietals is the perfect way to get a taste of the island’s history. Return back to hotel in the evening.     After breakfast, pick up and transfer to Santorini Port for the ferryboat to Heraklion (Crete). Arrive at Heraklion (Crete) and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Crete. (B)

    After breakfast, Day at leisure to enjoy this beautiful town, don’t miss a visit to Knossos Archaeological site. Heraklion is the largest city of Crete and one of Greece’s major urban centers. Heraklion today, as a modern town, has extensive facilities that cater for all the needs of its visitors. Overnight in Heraklion. (B)
