    Day 1: Lisbon – Fátima

    Arrive at Lisboa. You will leave Lisbon towards ÓBIDOS, surrounded by medieval walls where we can admire the diversity of the handicrafts and taste the famous liquor called “Ginginha”. We will continue to ALCOBAÇA dominated by the imposing church, considered World Heritage Site by UNESCO, that introduced the Gothic style in Portugal and where Pedro I and Inês de Castro rest, known for their love story. Depart to NAZARÉ, a typical fishing village with its traditions and legends. Next, you will get the opportunity to admire the Monastery of BATALHA – considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, a masterpiece of the Gothic style in Portugal. Later proceed to FÁTIMA, local of the world famous Marian Shrine. Overnight in Fátima.

    Day 2: Fátima – Oporto

    Breakfast at the hotel. Departure towards COIMBRA, site of one of the most ancient Universities in the world, with its Baroque library. In the afternoon continue to AVEIRO, city of the canals, known as the “Portuguese Venice”, where you shall have time to taste the local sweets “Ovos Moles”. Drive to Oporto. Overnight in Oporto. (B)

    Day 3: Oporto

    Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning visit the city of OPORTO, the 2nd biggest city in Portugal. You will discover its avenues, monuments and characteristic places including the romantic Exchange Stock Palace, São Francisco Church, and the traditional and popular Ribeira neighborhood. You will visit one of the most known and traditional Port Wine Cellars where you will have a wine tasting of Port Wine. Continue to the Minho region, where history, religion, and legends blend with magnificent monuments, stunning views, delicious cuisine, and unique wines. After, visit GUIMARÃES, the cradle of nationality. Then visit BRAGA known as the “Rome of Portugal” where you can visit the oldest cathedral in the country and the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus. Return to Oporto. Overnight in Oporto. (B)

    Day 4: Oporto

    Breakfast at the hotel. Later, leave Oporto towards SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA, the capital of Galicia and the destination of the pilgrims of the Camino de Santiago. In 1985, UNESCO declared Santiago de Compostela a Cultural Heritage Site. During the day, you have free time to discover this fascinating city. You can stroll through the historic streets, get to know the extraordinary monuments, taste the traditional dishes and visit the imposing Santiago Cathedral, the most important work of the Romanesque period in Spain. Return to Oporto. Overnight in Oporto. (B)

    Day 5: Oporto – Urgeiriça

    Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to AMARANTE, a small town located at the banks of the Tâmega river, with its houses with colorful porches and its candy shops with delicious monastic sweets. After, you will drive to VILA REAL where you will visit the gardens of the From Euro 953 pp* 1/2 Manor of Mateus. Then enter in the PORT WINE REGION, where one of the most known nectar of the Gods is made – the Port Wine. Stop in LAMEGO, overlooked by one of Portugal’s most important shrines, Our Lady of Remedies. You may try some of the local delicacies such as the famous “Bola de Lamego” (a loaf baked in the oven with smoked ham). Overnight in Urgeiriça. (B)

    Day 6: Urgeiriça – Lisbon

    Breakfast at the hotel. You will drive through the heart of Portugal till BUSSACO, where the romantic Palace Hotel and its luxuriant forest stands out. Continue to TOMAR, which development is closely linked to the Order of the Templars. You will visit the Convent of Christ, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1983. Return to Lisbon. (B)
