    Day 1 : Kandy

    Arrive in Sri Lanka. You will be met by a representative and transferred to Kandy. En route visit one of the most important tourist attraction the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, a unique experience never to be missed where volunteers & caretakers provide shelter & take care of orphaned, abandoned & injured elephants within park. Overnight in Kandy.

    Day 2 : Kandy

    After breakfast, commence city tour of Kandy, including Upper Lake Drive, Market Square and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. In the evening view a cultural show featuring various dance type of Sri Lanka. Overnight in Kandy. (B)

    Day 3 : Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

    After breakfast, leave for Nuwara Eliya and en route visit tea plantation, tea was first planted in Sri Lanka in 1824 at the Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya, when a few plants were brought from China. More were introduced from Assam in 1839. Proceed to Nuwara Eliya, the ‘Little England’ of Sri Lanka, which is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. All around Nuwara Eliya you will see evidence of the British influence. Houses are like country cottage or Queen Ann style mansions. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya. (B)

    Day 4 : Nuwara Eliya – Yala

    After breakfast, proceed to Yala. In the afternoon proceed for safari at Yala National Park. Yala is a haven for Fauna both indigenous & migrant. Bird concentrations are by the Lagoons/Salvers. Here are thousands of Flamingoes, Assemblies of spotted Billed Pelicans, Spoonbills, Cormorants & various species of Herons. Pheasants, Pea Fowl, Peacocks & the Wild Fowl are found in hundreds. Wild Buffalo and herds of wild Elephants are a common sight. Whether it is birds or animals you have them all at Yala. Overnight in Yala. (B)

    Day 5 : Yala – Bentota

    After breakfast, leave for Bentota. En route commence sightseeing of Galle, a historically interesting town. Built on a premonitory rock in the south of the Island. It was a major port until about 100 years, but today still handles shipping & sailing boats in the natural harbour. Stroll around the Light House & harbour or visit the old town where you can see the traditional lace makers & carvers & purchase some the finest shell-craft souvenirs in the world. Later check-in to the hotel. Overnight in Bentota. (B)

    Day 6 : Bentota – Colombo

    After breakfast, transfer to Colombo and proceed for a city tour of Colombo including shopping. Take a drive through the busy commercial areas of the city. Visit Fort, the former British administrative centre and military garrison, Sea Street – the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, the historic Dawatagaha Mosque and the former Eye Hospital are two buildings in Cinnamon Gardens worth looking at. Also visit the BMICH, see the replica of Avukana Buddha & the Independence Square. Overnight in Colombo. (B)
