    Day 1/ Beijing

    Upon arrival at Beijing, your tour guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight in Beijing.

    Day 2/ Beijing

    After breakfast, you go to visit the Tiananmen Square, the largest city square in the world. From Tiananmen Square enter the Forbidden City. This massive complex was the center of the Ming and Qing dynasties. With almost 10,000 rooms, this well-preserved imperial palace is the largest in the world. This afternoon you tour the magnificent Temple of Heaven, a Ming Temple where the emperors performed annual rites essential for the well Beijing of their land. Overnight in Beijing. (B, L)

    Day 3/ Beijing

    Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will experience the splendor of the Great Wall of China, the pride of China and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It is an amazing man-made structure built over 2000 years ago to protect China from northern invaders. After lunch, you visit the Summer Palace, which is the largest and best preserved of all the imperial palace gardens, and boasts such delights as the “Marble Boat” and the ornately painted “Long Corridor”. On the way back to the hotel, you have a stop at National Stadium (Bird Nets) and Water Cube and take some pictures outside. Overnight in Beijing. (B, L)

    Day 4/ Beijing – Xian

    After breakfast, be transferred to the railway station for a High Speed Train riding to Xi’an, cost you about 6 hours. You arrive in Xi’an at around 14:00pm, and then begin city exploration. First take you to Big Goose Pagoda, which was built 1,200 years ago, and now is the symbol of the old-line Xian. Next a visit to the Ancient City Wall which was erected in the 14th century Ming Dynasty. It is the best preserved, as well as the oldest and largest of the city defense systems in China. Overnight in Xian. (B)

    Day 5/ Xian

    fter breakfast, today’s touring is to the vast treasure of the underground army of the Terra-Cotta Warriors. They are to be found at an archaeological site which so far has yielded some 8000 ancient terra-cotta soldiers and horses, each a unique, finely detailed sculpture. This afternoon, you visit the Banpo Neolithic Museum, the first museum built on the site of historical relics in China. It was built in 1957 at the base of the excavation site of Banpo Village. This evening enjoys a spectacular Tang Dynasty Dinner Show. Overnight in Xian. (B, L, SD)

    Day 6/ Xian – Lhasa

    : Breakfast at the hotel. Take a morning flight to Lhasa. Upon arrvial in Gongar Airport, the highest airport in the world, you will be met and drive 100 km to the city of Lhasa, capital of Tibet. Check in the Hotel. In the after-noon you visit Jokhang Temple and stroll along Barkhor street. Enjoy the biggest free market in Lhasa and which is always busy with pilgrims. Overnight in Lhasa. (B, L)

    Day 07/ Lhasa (the holy city of Tibet)

    Breakfast at the hotel. You visit the impressive Potala palace and the Summer Palace Norbulingka. The Sera monastery with its debating monks gives you some insight the spiritual world of the Tibetans. Overnight in Lhasa. (B, L)

    Day 08/ Yamdrock (the holy lake)

    Breakfast at the hotel and proceed through the splendid scenery of the Tibetan Highland you drive up to Kampala pass which reaches nearly 5000m altitude and with stunning views of the holy lake Yamdrock. Then drive on down to the lake side and enjoy a pick nick lunch. Back to the hotel. Overnight in Lhasa. (B, L)

    Day 09/ Lhasa – Shanghai

    Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will be transferred to the airport for flight to Shanghai. Your tour guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight in Shanghai. (B, L)

    Day 10/ Shangha

    After breakfast at the hotel. Your tour begins with People Square, a spectacular space in the heart of the city. It is a vast green area including plants and trees, and surrounded by great buildings on all sides. Visit the Shanghai Museum a unique and inspiring piece of architecture, home to more than 120,000 cultural relics of ancient China, including a priceless collection of jade, bronze, ceramics, paintings, furniture, etc. Then walk to the Nanjing Pedestrian Road, the first commercial street in Shanghai. Next to the Bund, which is now surrounded by about 50 various buildings of different architectural styles including Gothic, Baroque, Romanesque, Classicism and the Renaissance. Move on to the Yuyuan Garden, a classical Ming Dynasty garden with pavilions, towers and terraces, followed by the Shanghai bazaar. It is teemed with a great number of small streets and lanes where vendors sell their products and food stuffs to the tourists and local people. In the end, we will arrive at Tianzifang, which has transformed itself from legacy residential architectures and factories into an artsy area housing bars, cafes, crafts shops, design studios, galleries and boutiques. You will have time on your own here, or can go back to your hotel with the guide. Overnight in Shanghai. (B, L)

    Breakfast at the hotel. Today is at leisure until your transfer to the airport for flight back home. (B)
