Day 1Arrive in Lisbon

Arrive in Lisbon: Airport transfer,. hotel check-in and leisure time. If time permits, explore the Baixa district and Praça do Comércio. Overnight Lisbon.

Day 2Lisbon City and Belém

Lisbon City and Belém: Explore Belém's maritime monuments, the Jerónimos Monastery area and the riverside. Continue to Chiado and Alfama, with viewpoints over the city. Overnight Lisbon.

Day 3Sintra and Cascais

Visit Pena Palace and Sintra's historic centre. Continue to Cabo da Roca and Cascais, subject to available time. Overnight Lisbon.

Day 4Lisbon to Porto

Lisbon to Porto: Transfer to the station and travel by train to Porto. Check in and explore Ribeira and the Dom Luís I Bridge area. Overnight Porto.

Day 5Porto Heritage

Porto Heritage: Visit São Bento station,. Porto Cathedral area, Clérigos Tower area and the historic centre. Enjoy time by the Douro River. Optional port-wine cellar visit in Vila Nova de Gaia. Overnight Porto.

Day 6Douro Valley Excursion

Douro Valley Excursion: Take a pre-arranged day trip into the Douro Valley,. famous for terraced vineyards and river landscapes. Depending on the selected excursion, include a viewpoint stop, a vineyard visit and a river cruise or tasting experience. Return to Porto. Overnight Porto.

Day 7Porto to Coimbra

Porto to Coimbra: Check out and travel by train or private vehicle to Coimbra. Explore the historic university district and old town. Visit the University of Coimbra or its library only if the selected ticket, schedule and access conditions allow. Overnight Coimbra.

Day 8Departure

Departure: Breakfast and transfer to the agreed departure airport. Departure from Lisbon or Porto may require an additional train or road transfer from Coimbra.
