Day 1Arrival and transfer

Arrive at Bagdogra (or New Jalpaiguri) and drive to Darjeeling (about three hours). Check in and rest.

Day 2Tiger Hill and Darjeeling

Sunrise at Tiger Hill and a tea estate visit.

Day 3Darjeeling to Kalimpong

Drive to Kalimpong to see flower nurseries and the Durpin Dara viewpoint.

Day 4Kalimpong to Gangtok

Drive to Gangtok along the Teesta river and check in.

Day 5Gangtok sights

Ride the Gangtok ropeway and visit Rumtek Monastery.

Day 6Tsomgo Lake

Take a day trip to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir (permits arranged), then return to Gangtok.

Day 7Departure

After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
